"Mat Pilates" Mondays at 4pm
It's all about the
core! Mat Pilates focuses on strengthening the core,
"the power house of the
body". The practice of Pilates improves the body's overall muscle tone and
strength without high impact movements. Using controlled, proper breathing and
sometimes small equipment, these floor exercises facilitate a healthier body,
mind, and spirit. Pilates improves posture, reduces back pain, reduces inches
and helps to sculpt a stronger you! Pilates is a great way to change up or add
to your workout!
"Pilates Flex and Stretch" Thursdays at 4:30pm
A slightly different
take on Mat Pilates. Flex and Stretch is a milder form of core and breathing
techniques to improve muscle flexibility. By slowing down the breathing and
incorporating more specialized movements, this format helps to gradually
elongate and stretch muscle tissue to improve flexibility while continuing to
engage core strength. Flex and Stretch is the best of both worlds!
